Dr. Stéphanie Pellet (Ph.D. University of Texas, Austin), Associate Professor and chair of the Department of French Studies, teaches courses in French and linguistics. She co-authored Pause Café: French in Review / Moving toward fluency (McGraw-Hill), an intermediate French textbook. Her most recent research focuses on foreign language pedagogy, L2 literacy, and foreign language learning with digital technology. She is currently developing an Open Education online platform for a literacy-based approach to learning French using social pedagogies, in collaboration with Digital Research librarians and another French professor. This project is described in a co-authored article.
