Jennifer Cox is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of French Studies. Her interests include sociolinguistics, regional languages of France, and multilingualism in the Francophonie. She has published articles and book chapters about the impact of language ideologies on language revitalization efforts, including for minoritized languages such as Picard and Breton. She is passionate about supporting first generation students and helping all students connect to French and Francophone culture both in and outside the classroom.
