Milorad (Miki) Margitić earned his Ph.D. in French from Wayne State University and his Candidatus (M.A.) in French from the State University of Leiden, The Netherlands. A specialist of French seventeenth-century literature, Dr. Margitić’s research interests include French Baroque and Classical theatre, especially the works of Pierre Corneille, as well as modern literary criticism. At Wake Forest University, he taught French courses including “Literature and Religion” (FRH 216: Studies in French and Francophone Literature and Culture) and “Theatre and Society” (FRH 365).
